Future Goals

Our Vision

The Dallas Lamar Project envisions a future where no family has to navigate the loss of a child alone, unsupported, or unseen.

We are committed to building a community-centered ecosystem of care that provides emotional support, accessible resources, and culturally aligned services for families, particularly within Black and Brown communities.

As we grow, our vision is to expand our impact through:

  • Direct financial support to assist families with funeral expenses and immediate needs during times of loss.
  • A trusted network of community resources, connecting families to therapists, healthcare providers, and support systems that feel aligned and accessible.
  • Healing-centered programs and safe spaces, including support groups, workshops, and community gatherings

Looking ahead, we are building toward a more expansive and holistic model of care.

We recognize that the journey does not end with loss. For many families, it includes healing, rebuilding, and, for some, the desire to grow their families again.

Our long-term vision is to support a full continuum of maternal and family care by connecting families to trusted partners across every stage, including:

  • Fertility and preconception support, including IVF resources
  • Pregnancy and prenatal care
  • Postpartum wellness and emotional support
  • Bereavement care for pregnancy and infant loss
  • Ongoing support for life after loss

Through intentional partnerships and community collaboration, we aim to create a system of care that supports families from life to loss and from loss back to life.
